How to Install lfsck software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

lfsck software package provides statically linked version of the lustre filesystem checker, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lfsck

lfsck is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lfsck package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lfsck *

You will get with lfsck package name, version, architecture and description in a table
